What tuition discounts apply to senior citizens and at what age do I qualify for the discounts?
If you are 62 or older, and have been a Nevada resident for one year, you qualify for this program. The program gives the following discounts: no application fee, no per-credit charge to register for a regular course and no discount for workshops. Lab and special fees are paid by the student. Tuition discounts apply only if there are seats available in a class: if the class in which you have enrolled becomes full, you must pay the full tuition or drop the class(es). If you have turned 62 since taking your last TMCC class, notify the Admissions and Records office.
