What type of applicant is likely to be admitted into the MS Accounting – Tax Specialization?
Admission into the specialization is competitive. As a general rule you should hold an undergraduate degree in accounting to apply to the Program. However, applicants who hold a degree in academic disciplines other than accounting are encouraged to apply but only if they possess a fundamental interest and understanding of taxation and accounting to ensure the likelihood of success in the Program. Such applicants MUST have a sufficient number of credits in taxation and accounting courses to ensure their success.
