As to the person who says that a prong collar is the only way to control a large dog, if you actually TRAIN your dog you can control it no matter how large. I just use a regular flat buckle collar on my pup, he is currently about 70 pounds (a pup), and that is the kind of collar I plan on using with him the rest of his life. If you are having an issue with pulling, I would suggest a gentle leader head collar or easy walk harness. (I like the easy walk harness better, just make sure you follow the directions when putting it on.) Regular harnesses initiate pulling, but the easy walk prevents it. If you do choose something like a prong collar, make sure you have someone fit it to the dog who really knows what they are doing. If it is too tight or even too loose, it can hurt the dog, instead of just being a minor correction.
