What type of economic system does spain have?
I have a reaserch paper due for economics and i need to know what kind of an economy Spain has. Also i need to know examples of why spain is that type of an economy…Spain has a mixed economy, like the US and other developed countries. This means that while much of the economy’s output is produced and distributed via the market mechanism, the government takes a substantial role in the economy through tax and spending decisions.
European capitalisme … developed economy. Capitalisme but with strong unions, intervention of the government in some markets. Markets are generally clearly not free. High taxes and high level of subsidies and grants. they are integrated in Europe under all forms. It remains a “poor” country of Europe … salaries are low compared to other countries. Hence Spain supplies workforce in other EU countries. (yet slowely, less and less as new EU countries from eastern Europe offer them for much cheaper prices. a bit of colonialisme … spain is the door to latine american countries … Most big spanish enterprises have 30% or more of their sales derived in LATAM.
