I assume you have gout. A study found that 51% of people had issues with one diet. The other 49% had issues with the diet that was determined back in the 70s. Which group do you fall into? I fall into the group that can’t eat much pork, pineapple or legumes. I can eat all any other meat, beer or anything without any problems. Here’s the list of the major foods that you should avoid or avoid in quantity according to that study: Scallops, herring, tuna, anchovies, beer, red meat, turkey, beverages with high fructose corn syrup, asparagus, cauliflower, spinach, liver, kidneys, sweetbreads. The ONLY one on this list that affects me is liver and I can still have it, but just not very often or in high quantities. I stick with chicken liver. I can have all the beef I want, with asparagus and beer, and not have any problem, but 2 days in a row of green beans, pork or pineapple, and I’m hurting although I’m smart enough to watch for this. I haven’t needed medication for a flareup since the late
