What type of ink is used for printing paperback books?

0

While some very low level books are printed inkjet, most short run books are digitally printed on a laser device while longer runs are offset printed using regular offset printing ink on a large printing press. Inkjet inks can run if they get wet, and usually don’t produce a nice, dense black and so are generally unsuitable for something such as a book.
