A. The light source “type” is an LED mounted on a small circuit board. The life expectancy (actually a half-life) is 50,000 hours. If you never shut the Oasis off, that would be almost 6-years. Running 8-hours a day, 5-days a week, the life expectancy of the light source is 24-years. The cost of replacement is about $60 (sixty bucks).
