What type of rope will be used (Static or Dynamic)?

Static, it’s a 2 rope system with a main line and safety back-up. The safety back-up device is connected to a shock absorbing lanyard. We adhere to industrial rope access standards throughout our entire system, which are much more strict than recreational climbing. See www.irata.org/explaining_rope_access.htm and www.sprat.org/faq.html for more information on the trade organizations which set these standards.
