• Rods of low-heat type are recommended. The heat is kept to a minimum. 1/8″ or 5/32″ Unimatic 6000 rods, manufactured by Eutectic, or their equivalent, are recommended for this application. The finished weld, using these rods, is stronger, and there is less possibility of damage to the cement lining from excessive heat.

Thanks for the advice, I decided to weld some broken tools, but I haven’t done this for a long time, I need to remember some details.
