“Broadcast students serve as reporters and videographers covering news in Columbia and Mid-Missouri. These students also suggest story ideas and take specific assignments from faculty editors. Then they go out with camera gear and a student partner to produce the story. This is identical to a typical workday for any American television or radio station. Our students cover politics, social issues and community events.
