Canmore Nordic Center is a world-class cross-country skiing facility. It is a beautiful Nordic center with trails for the extreme to beginner. The trails are immaculately groomed and take you through some beautiful trails through the forest. The center was built for the 1988 Winter Olympics and is a wonderful place to visit. Rentals are available at local sports rental stores. Ice-skating is a favourite past time for Canadians. At the Lake Louise Hotel the lake is cleared and offers a great way to spend your day. Cross-country trails also line the lake with spectacular views.
