What types of AutoCAD software do Civil Engineers use?

0

I’m a civil/structural engineer. AutoCAD is one type of computer aided drafting (CAD) software, produced by Autodesk, Inc. MicroStation by Bentley Systems, Inc. is used by most of the state DOTs, the Federal Highway Administration and the US Army Corps of Engineers. Bentley Systems’ InRoads civil engineering software works with MicroStation or AutoCAD to design alignment or site features such as roads, runways, levees, dams, parking lots and subdivisions.
