What types of EDI Implementation Conventions are available?

0

Currently, two types of Implementation Conventions are maintained and published. They are Federal Implementation Conventions and Department of Defense (DoD) Implementation Conventions. Implementation Conventions are developed and harmonized through the Federal EDI Standards Management Coordinating Committee (FESMCC), and the Electronic Data Interchange Standards Committee (EDISMC). They target the business processes, and delineate the Government interpretation and usage of Implementation Conventions in all functional areas.
