What types of institutions are best suited to lead Next Chapter projects?
The three most important factors are the institution’s commitment to The Next Chapter principles, the fit of its mission, and its ability to forge strong partnerships with other organizations that can help provide a full complement of Next Chapter components. Throughout the country, many different types of public and nonprofit agencies have successfully taken the lead for Next Chapter projects. Here are some examples: City agencies: In Arizona, city libraries and social service departments have taken leadership for Next Chapter development, along with other city departments, such as human resources and recreation.
