Q. How different is the structure of the M.A. as opposed to the undergraduate degree? A. The first semester can be a bit disorientating as it gives the student a much wider scope for independent and lateral thinking – it is sometimes hard to ‘follow your nose’ when you are unsure what direction your nose is meant to be facing.
