What types of paranormal activity are there?
There are three main types of paranormal activity: residual, intelligent and organic. Residual activity is best described as a time echo. Lingering energy fields from the recently departed go through the motions of the living, even though the actual person has already passed. An intelligent haunt, on the other hand, interacts with its environment and often tries to communicate its predicament. This type is quite rare and believed to be a conduit to the spirit world. Organic spirits often appear around a transitory vortex. High, steady electro-magnetic fluctuations and unexplained temperature differentials can indicate the presence of a vortex. These inhuman entities or forces have an unknown purpose.
