What types of positions are available with Boone County?
Full Time Position: Full time employees are budgeted for 2080 work hours per year annually in each budget year. Part Time Position: Part time employees are budgeted for less than 2080 work hours per year annually in each budget year. Temporary: Temporary employees are hired as interim replacements, to temporarily supplement the work force, or to assist in completion of a specific project. Temporary employees receive legally mandated benefits, such as workers’ compensation insurance and Social Security, but are ineligible for the County’s other benefits.
