Generally, if you filed your taxes on time, but didn't pay them, they are dischargeable if the taxes were filed more than 3 years ago. Other taxes may be dischargeable, but the rules are complicated. It is best to consult with an attorney familiar with bankruptcy law with regard to the determination of which tax debts can or cannot be discharged in bankruptcy.  more
