What types of transponders are available?
1. Interior and waterproof exterior mount transponders must be purchased at a cost of $25.00 plus sales tax where applicable. 2. Bumper mount transponders must be purchased at a cost of $30.00 plus sales tax where applicable. These transponders are for vehicles with special features (i.e. heating elements, metallic oxides and some tints) that have been installed in or on the windshield preventing the transponder signal from being read.
