Raritan certifies the following Category 5e and 6 UTP cable products for use with its industry-leading computer centre solutions. UTP Category 5e: Belden DataTwist 350 UTP - #1700A – Single-wired, Belden DataTwist 350 Patch - #1752A - stranded. UTP Category 6: Belden MediaTwist - #1872A – Single-wired. The use of non-certified cables can cause an unacceptable impairment of the video and data quality for the user. The abovementioned Raritan-certified cable products are available everywhere, free of charge. When using Raritan-certified cables, video signals can be transferred over distances of up to 300 m with an update frequency/resolution of 1024 x 768 at 75 Hz and over distances of up to 180 m with an update frequency/resolution of 1600 x 1200 at 75 Hz.
