Most important to answering your question is to know where you live (growing season length is very important). If you live in a long growing season (southern US states, southern Europe, etc) than you can still plant lettuce, certain variety of tomatoes, peppers and similar plants. If you live in a shorter growing season than I would recomend plants that are a bit more resistant to colder weather. I have had success with broccoli, Kale, onions, garlic, cabbage & carrots into the colder temps. There are also hybrid plants available that will grow quicker for shorter growing seasons that might work well also. Good Luck.
