What version of Kantaro Vol. 1 do I have?

There have been 6 versions of Kantaro Volume 1 since its inception in 1993 – 1 on diskette and the other 5 on CD. Each version is clearly marked, but the difference can be obscure. There was only 1 issue of the diskette (no sound) version. Look at your CD. If it is green and silver, then it is version 1.2 U.S. release (distributed exclusively by Pacific Software Publishing, Inc.). If it is pink and blue, then it is the international release. Look closely below the “Fujitsu” logo. If you see HME-703, then yhou have version 1 release 1. If you see HME-703A, then you have version 1 release 2. If there is a DISCTRONICS logo, then you will see KTRO-1.1 just above the Fujitsu logo which means you have version 1.1. If you have this version, we recommend you obtain the version 1.1b installation diskette from your distributor.
