What volleyball position is best for me?
6’0 trying for freshman volleyball!? Lucky girl, you’ll probably get put on more than freshman. My guess would be if your coordination is pretty good as well as timing you’d be a middle hitter or an outside hitter, but most 6 footers tend to be middles. If you’re just decent in your timing and coordination (need some work) maybe you’ll be more of a middle blocker OR a right side hitter. I know a right side hitter in college that is well over 6’0 and she is the best secret weapon because people assume right sides aren’t as strong but she brings the heat. Backrow would not be for you, since you’re tall and not as close to the ground. Good luck, at 6’0 even if you never touched the floor you’d be intimidation more than you can imagine.
