Yes that is it. The security guy and the flight attendant have teamed together to hijack the plane and claim 50 million dollars by framing Jodie Foster’s character as the terrorist. The coffin has a bomb in it and that is why her husband is killed, to carry the bomb and to use her as the way to get the coffin on the plane relatively unchecked. The taking of the daughter is to drive the mother insane so that she is believable as a terrorist. The only thing is that she figures out where the daughter is and finds the bomb as well.
