What was the first British car to be fitted with hand operated windscreen wipers in 1910?
A Brit, Gladstone Adams had an idea for wipers, while driving through snow to the 1908 cup final , but didn’t patent it til 1911. Makes me wonder whether there were any British cars with wipers by 1910. An american patented a wiper idea in the states a few years earlier, so at a guess any british car with wipers would have had US roots. So my 10p is on Ford!
