What was the magnitude and epicenter of the earthquake in Delaware on July 1?
The earthquake was only 2.8 on the Richter scale. Big enough to feel, but not big enough to cause much damage, despite the fact that Delaware obvioously isn’t as earthquake ready as California. The epicenter of the Delaware earthquake was near Wilmington, specifically Mannington Township, near the Delaware River. PSE&G Nuclear operates three nuclear power plants in Salem County.
