What Was The Move On Behalf Of Italy Regarding Irans State-owned Bank Sepah?
The heat of conflict intensified between Italy and Iran, despite of them sharing strong trade ties between each other, when the sanctions promulgated by the United Nations contributed towards making Italy take an immediate action in the form of taking whole control of the Rome branch of the Iran’s state-owned Bank Sepah. Although the Ambassador of Iran declared this move of Italy as verily aggressive and totally uncalled for, but Italy defended itself on the grounds of the information presented to it by relevant sources, which states that similar moves have been incorporated regarding Bank Sepah branches in France as well as in Germany, which are two other European nations who are clearly against the nuclear proliferation policy of Iran, seeing it as a direct threat to international security.
