What was up with Gottfreid on ESPN Radio?
Anybody listen to the ESPN Radio broadcast of the Papajohns.com Bowl between South Florida and East Carolina this afternoon? I listened to about an hour of it, driving to and from around town, and Mike Gottfried sounded VERY strange on the telecast with Pam Ward. Not making light of it either, he seriously sounded either drunk, or the other thing I thought it sounded like was that he was suffering a stroke right there on the air. His words were extremely slurred, and I could not believe what I was hearing. He was also acting a little goofy. Did anybody else catch this? Again, I am not joking about that. It seriously sounded like he was either lit up, or was suffering a stroke. It was really weird.
