What was wrong with Bill Clintons presidency?
There was nothing wrong with Bill’s presidency. If anything, I miss those days. Compared with two terms of Bush, and facing what is now a tanking economy, Bill’s time in office was absolutely stunning in comparison. It was also a time when the U.S. could be proud of their standing in the world. I’m not sure you can say as much now. Course, his issue was the ‘sleeping around’ as you refer to it. But, I never understood why that amounted to impeachment? Especially when it was clear that – at that time – duties of government and his business as President was still being carried out thoroughly and effectively. But again, we got to see the Republican attack-machine hard at work. I just don’t understand it. Bill did what he did and got impeached, yet Bush and Cheney go to war on trumped up intelligence, and will walk away scot-free? Bill lied, but one died. Go figure.
