What were boarding houses like in the 1930s?
hi the boarding houses in the 1930s were fulll of people out of home and some times a job. a woman or family would be on there last straw and need to house people some times they move there whole family into there master bed room so they can fit more people in the house. boarding houses after a while were built big and could fit many in them boasrding houses then are our apartments today many people would pay a rent or fee and a man came up with the idea of a house with many rooms later it was called apartments.
