What were some effects of the declaration of independence??

0

The Declaration of Independence was sent to all the heads of state in Europe. It stated that people have a universal right to have some say in how they are governed. It declared the Independence of the American colonies from Great Britain and gave a list of grievances against the King and government of Great Britain. Those grievances form the bases for the colonies justification in severing all allegiance with England and forming there own nation. It declared the new nation to have all the rights, responsibilities and privileges associated with being a sovereign nation. The result was the inevitable war with England and the siphoning off of valuable manpower and resources to fight their loosing war in America. This contributed to England’s already weakening hold on its global empire. The Declaration of Independence and our early association with France most likely sowed the seeds of the France Revolution.
