What will be Arsenal dream signings?
I wouldn’t say they would be dream signings, but I would say they would be realistic ones. They would help bolster the squad. 1) Vermaelen – CB – Great spring, good header, strong on the ball. 2) Hitzlsperger – LCM – Apparently he would be signed by Wenger. He is 27 years old, has had experience in the Premiership as he played in Aston Villa. He is also captain of Stuttgart. Powerful left foot and can definitely score. 3) Sakho – CB – According to rumours, he might go to Arsenal. He is the captain of Paris St Germain and would add steel and height to the defence. However, if Arsene is going for experience, I am not too sure (as he is 19 years old). A bid for him would not be bad though, because Toure or Gallas look to be leaving the Emirates, thus could replace either one of them. 4) Striker – I am uncertain who might be purchased this summer in this area.
