WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT EACH FHM EVENT?
During an event members of that particular chruch and the public can take advantage of free HIV/AIDS testing and pharmaceutical services available; and other available free healthcare services and education relating to a particular health problem (i.e., during our HIV/AIDS Education and Prevent event, testing will be made available to the church and public at no cost and a brief program of education and prevention will be presented to help participants understand how the virus is spread and how they can best protect themselves from contracting the virus. WHERE WILL FHM’S EVENTS TAKE PLACE? These events will be held on a rotating basis in partner churches in the Beaver County area. THIS IS NOT A HEALTH FAIR. HOW DOES THIS DIFFER? • Each event will always have HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and testing available; however, we will focus on one other health problem by offering free medical interventsion and targeted education on that particular health problem.
