We, if you are out of the US, there is not a whole lot they can do, but if you return and start working again and start paying taxes and file again or don’t file, they can audit you and then they will make you pay all the back taxes you owe. If you plan on coming back to the US you had better pay your taxes. Not even to metion that they will strap you to a tree and “CHIP’S” will be allowed to have their way with you.
