What will happen if you take ibuprofen oxycodone apap and cephalexin at the same time?
I would venture to say that you shouldn’t combine these drugs without checking with your pharmacist first. For your own health I would advise this. However, seeing that ibuprofen is an NSAID (designed to relieve muscle pain by reducing inflammation) and that Oxycodone/APAP (Percocet) is an analgesic, there is no pharmacological reason that THESE cannot be used with each other. However, cephalexin is an antibiotic and may reduce the effectiveness of the Percocet/IB combination, or worse, have adverse reactions such as liver damage or respiratory depression (slowing of breathing caused by too much depressent). I would ask a pharmacist before taking anything. If he gives you the all clear, then by all means go for it. If not, don’t do it. Period.
