What will happen to existing fences within the easements?
Existing fences removed from the easements during construction will be replaced after construction to a condition equal to the original. When necessary, temporary fences shall be erected for protection of livestock or prevention of trespass. After construction, any gates placed across the easement will be supplied with double padlocked chains to provide access to both the utility and the property owner. • How will the easements look after construction is complete? The easements will be restored to approximately the same grade as before construction occurs, unless shown otherwise in the design drawings. The area will be graded, fertilized and seeded. Our goal will be to return the right-of-way to a condition equal to or better than the condition prior to construction. • Will blasting be allowed?
