What will Keira Knightley, Cate Blanchett, and Anna Friel wear?
With Atonement leading with seven nominations, star Keira Knightley will surely be the belle of the ball. She’s been wearing a lot more light colors – even pastels – lately that can kind of wash out her super-pale skin tone. We’re hoping she returns to deep jewel tones and wears a saturated color to the Globes. Next up we have Cate Blanchett, nominated for Elizabeth: The Golden Age, who will probably have a bit of a baby bump to contend with. We hope that she foregos some of the tent dresses she’s been hiding in lately and just works with her shape. Lastly, newcomer Anna Friel who is nominated for best actress in a TV comedy for Pushing Daisies. We haven’t seen much of Friel on a red carpet, but she’s made some unflattering, unfortunately choices in the past. Hopefully her newfound star status, and probably a newfound stylist, as well as her awesome costumes for Daisies, have upped her fashion quota.
