What will Valentines Mansion be used for when it re-opens in February 2009?
Answer The restored Mansion will be a mixed-use facility. Visitors will have the chance to explore the restored period rooms, set within a historic park landscape featuring walled gardens, a canal and Gardeners Cottage Cafe. School children will role-play in the reconstructed kitchen and dairy as part of an exciting new education programme. Adult education classes will also be hosted at the Mansion from February 2009. Furthermore, a range of rooms within the Mansion will be available for hire for functions, meetings, community group use and education sessions. Artists will occupy studios on the top floor of the Mansion, which will also feature a temporary exhibitions gallery, as well as a permanent display on the history of the Mansion and park.
