What woodburning devices must be removed by May 31, 2008?
Woodstoves and fireplace inserts that are not certified by the Environmental Protection Agency or the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality must be removed. Woodstoves and fireplace inserts that are EPA certified (Phases I and II) or Oregon DEQ certified, open masonry fireplaces, zero clearance fireplaces, and pellet stoves are not required to be removed.
