What would be a good topic for an argumentative research paper about music or guitar?
I would start by figuring out any positive or negative ideas, thoughts or opinions you have about music in general or the guitar in particular. For instance, maybe you think that people take music too seriously or you think that grunge music has ruined the guitar. Exploring your natural opinions and inclinations is a great place to start for a topic. If that doesn’t help you then perhaps do some searches on Google (or your favorite search engine) for phrases such as “music – pros and cons”, “problems guitar”, etc. (you can leave the quotation marks out of the actual search). Check out the articles and see if you get any good topic ideas.
