What would G. Love be doing if he wasn’t a musician?
G. Love would maybe be a teacher. I knew from when I was 16-years-old what I wanted to do. And that’s kind of a lucky thing to have as a teenager. So many people spend so much of their younger years confused about what they want to do. But I knew what I wanted to do and I did what I had to to achieve that. And so that was something that I never had to think about too much. So I never really had to think about what would I be “if,” because to me, there was no “if.” I was set in my heart and in my mind. Did you ever read the book “The Alchemist?” No. I haven’t. It’s a really cool book about following your dreams. It’s one of my favorite books and I highly recommend it. It was all about if you put all your energy into your dream and all your heart, then all the forces in the universe will combine to help make that dream a reality. And that’s that.
