What would I talk about in a speech about racism? IM IN NEED!?
There are a lot of topics that you could talk about. First, I would define racism. Many people think they know what the word means but they don’t. They use the word racism when they should be using the word prejudice. Usually racism involves the belief that one race is inherently superior to another. You could discuss the differences between racism and prejudice. You could discuss racism in Nazi Germany. You could discuss racial supremacy groups (there are both white and black supremacy groups). You could discuss how affirmative action helps/hinders race relations. You could discuss the pros and cons of reparations for slavery. You could talk about the attitudes of bi-racial people concerning the racism they feel from each side of their heritage. Or you could discuss how much progress we’ve made in the last 50 years towards ending racism.
