What would make candidates ready for the Rising Fellows Program instead of the BES Fellowship?
The competencies necessary for the Rising Fellows Program are the same as the BES Fellowship, but readiness might be demonstrated differently. Both opportunities are for candidates are who driven to found a charter school, are high capacity, highly flexible and urgent, and demonstrate a commitment to urban education. Candidates who are a fit for the Rising Fellows Program will benefit from an additional year of training and development around leadership in a no-excuses charter school.
