Whats a 34-letter word for fun?
Six years old, dragged to a movie theater by Mom (Dad was smart enough to be working that day), to see this woman flying around by means of umbrella. Your humble reviewer doesn’t remember much about the movie itself (though since Mrs. Friedman got the DVD as a Christmas present, some things will come back…as soon as I force myself to watch it). What I do remember are the damned songs, especially the three key numbers that once you start thinking about just a teensy bit, they stick into your head like flypaper mixed with Crazy Glue. All of you who are old enough to remember, I’m about to share the good feelings (a.k.a. torture) with you now. Remember “A Spoonful of Sugar”? Come on, you’re also bound to remember “Chim Chim Cher-ee”. And if those two conveniently escape the deepest recesses of your brain, this won’t: “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”.
