Whats an appropriate wedding gift?
I would go off of the things they are asking for. In other words, if they have a gift registry, go off of that. Since they are asking for premium bonds, I would say that any amount you can offer is reasonable. Perhaps $100? It depends on how big your purse is honestly. Some people can afford $20, while others can afford $1,000. It depends on you and how close you are to the couple too. If you are very close, you may want to give more. If you are more distant, don’t give as much. It’s totally up to you, and I’m sure they will appreciate whatever they can get. They must be understanding during this hard time economically. =) Hope this helps!
