Short books: these are all small books around 100-200 pages the ones I wuld definately recommend are Night, Flowers for Algernon, To Kill a Mockingbird, and The Chosen Night by Ellie Wiesel: about a boy in the holocaust, really moving story The Giver by Lois Lowry: about a science fiction society where there’s no color and jobs are assigned, won a newberry award Of Mice and Men: about two men working in ranch during great depression, author won nobel peace prize Flowers for Algernon: tells the story of a person with a low IQ who participates in an experiment that makes him smart, its a really nice book in diary form about his experiences and moral issues To Kill a Mocking bird: this is longer, more than 200 pages but it is well worth it, one of the best books I’ve ever read about a little girl’s experiences in the South as she’s growing up and looking around at discrimination Animal Farm by George Orwell: about a group of animals on a farm as they rule themselves after overthrowing the
