Whats Behind Islams Blood Thirsty Jihad?
In 624 AD, 300 Muslims defeated 900 men guarding a richly laden caravan. The victory and plunder made the Muslims weep with joy. It was a miracle, how could a force of only 300 defeat 900 warriors? How was this possible? The Koran answers the question leaving no ambiguity: “You did not kill them but Allah killed them.” (Koran 8:17) The conclusion is forthcoming. Allah had intervened with divine power giving victory to the Muslims when they were otherwise destined for defeat. This event was called the battle of Badr and it established the precedent and key ideological formula motivating Islamic Jihad ever since. Remove this key event from Islamic history and the Islamic Jihad would evaporate like smoke from a desert campfire.
