What’s Different About Parenting Twins? Tuesday January 29, 2008 It happened again just the other day. I was telling some friends about an issue of contention between my twin daughters and one of them responded, “It’s just the same with my two girls. The older one does this and the younger one does that…” I thought to myself, “NO. It is not the same! At all!” But I kept my thoughts to myself, smiled and listened patiently. Does this happen to you? How do you react? I generally don’t try to argue it, because I know that parents of singletons just don’t understand the complicated dynamic between same-age siblings.
