Whats happening with the British Council?
The British Council closed in 1994 or 1995 and at that time they had a teaching centre and a library, however, they also left with the British Embassy during the difficult years. They returned in 2007 but with a slightly different focus. They are now working with the Ministry of Education to help raise the level of English teaching in Algeria. 2.
