Whats involved in the large goods vehicle instructors driving ability test?
The large goods vehicle (LGV) practical driving test will assess your driving technique and ability on a range of roads and in various traffic conditions, and will take about an hour and a half. The test will include all the elements of the practical LGV test but it is not just a slightly more difficult LGV test. It is at an advanced level and a very high standard of competence is required. You must show that you have a thorough knowledge of the principles of good driving and road safety, and that you can apply them in practice.
